If your computer is no longer fast enough and you need to change it for a reason or another, but it still works you have the opportunity to donate it to a fabulous organisation that puts it in good working order and then send it to under developed countries. It is what they do at Computer Aid International, a UK registered charity aimed to reduce poverty in deprived countries by supplying IT solutions and computers to schools, hospitals and all areas where necessary to improve teaching, learning and research. Computer Aid collects reusable working PCs from organisations, companies and private owners and their team of experts wipes them from all data and makes sure all computers are in perfect working order before shipping to poor countries. One of their recent donations consisted of 309 professionally refurbished computers to Chinhoyi University of Technology in Zimbabwe to improve the quality of education for all students. Until recently, the university operated with only 10 computers available for nearly 3,000 students.  For information on how to donate an old PC visit Computer Aid website.
