pumpkin-jar

I have been looking around for crafts ideas for more Halloween decorations to add to the hanging bats we made last week and I found two very good projects. Both involve recycling, which makes them that little more fun and educational.

The Pumpkin Jar ornament from Craftbits.com is very easy to make using an old glass jar and paint of different colours. You could make your own or reproduce an exact copy of the one in the photo by following the step by step instructions available. This fabulous jar would be perfect to hold little treats to hand out to the kids you know.

ghost-craftThe other craft that inspired me is the ghost decoration made using an old t-shirt (or any old fabric) and some starch. This ghost is very easy to make and will be a cool decoration to have on your front door if you are hosting a Halloween party. Step by step instructions for this project can be found on Kaboose.
