Wooden pegs raft

Submitted by on June 9, 2011 – 2:37 amNo Comment

Pegs, pegs and more pegs. Today we have a very simple raft put together with wooden pegs, glue and construction paper. We glued seven spare pegs side by side with the flat side facing up and another two across and under to solidify it. Then we attached another spare half vertically using strong hold glue to make the mast where we then attached a single sail cut out of construction paper.

It looks really cute, but the best part is that it floats and since it is very light it moves by blowing on the sail. After discovering the fun you can have by making the raft move with the power of your lungs we will need to make more so we can have a raft race.
