I have recently come across a great series of books designed to introduce basic science concepts to kids. Little Pirate, Science Made Simple is a great line of books by Innovative Kids based on inquiry-based learning. Children go on a journey with the book’s characters to answer questions such as “Is a Shark a Fish?” “Is A Spider an Insect?” and “Why Do We Recycle”. Children are constantly asking questions that’s why this method of learning is so appropriate to the age group 3-6. Not only the books are presented with colourful illustrations, but the information is presented in such a way that learning becomes an adventure and a lot of fun.
