What better way to celebrate Earth Day then entertaining your kids with fun recycling crafts. I went looking for fresh ideas and I found some great projects on Kaboose.

There is a lot that you can make with empty laundry bottles like this fun pet food scoop. You need a plastic laundry bottle, felt, white glue, scissors and felt alphabet stickers. Cut the top of the laundry bottle off, remove packaging labels and wash the outside to remove any residue. Wash the inside thoroughly to remove all traces of soap.  Stick the alphabet stickers to the front of the bottle, spelling out your pet’s name. If you don’t have the felt stickers, simply cut your pet’s name out of felt and glue them to the bottle.

Cut out fun shapes such as bones, biscuits, and paw prints, and glue them all over the bottle. Let dry completely before using.
