Some might argue that shopping with a baby is harder than shopping with a six year old. Both have their problems, babies you have to carry but at least they don’t expect you to buy every single item they like the look of. Shopping with a baby on the other hand is physically exhausting as supposed to mentally straining. Call me over protective but one of the things I was mostly conscious about when I went shopping with my son as a baby and later as a toddler – until he did no longer fit in it anyway – was the shopping cart carrier, or better the germs those things carry. If you stop and think about it, how often – if ever – do you think a typical shopping cart is cleaned? infantino-shopping-cart-coverWith that in mind I was the crazy person who taking matters into her own hands would get out the wet wipes and clean around the baby seat. Maybe it is a little excessive and having had a fun shopping cart carrier like the ones I have seen around recently I probably would have looked more normal. The colourful shopping carts by Infantino are fun and playful so besides covering the area of the shopping cart in direct contact with the child they are a form of entertainment, which keeps chldren happy even on long queues at checkout.
