How to reuse old denim to craft

After my curtains, which I am very proud of, I thought I’d take on a project which required a little more skill and I must say I didn’t think it would come out so well…if I may say so myself. A few months ago I really admired the fabric dog made by Maggy from Red Ted Art and recently I saw it again on Pinterest so I printed the free pattern and had a go myself. The instructions were so clear and easy to follow step by step that I really surprised myself with this little denim guy. As well as the easy instructions and pattern, thanks Maggie, I used the denim left over from an old pair of jeans I had already cut from a previous craft, stuffing, thread and needle. I don’t own a sewing machine (yet) so I hand stitched the whole thing…though I think it would be better to use a machine I am still quite pleased with my efforts.
