How to make a miniature Christmas tree from a shoebox

Submitted by on November 28, 2012 – 8:12 am4 Comments

Today I would like to share a miniature tridimensional Christmas tree I make with the cardboard from a shoebox, green tissue paper, glue and glitter.

1. Cut two identical tree shapes out of cardboard

2. Mark the centre of the tree and make an incision vertically from the centre to the top on one tree and from the centre to the bottom on the other.

3. Slide one tree cutout on top of the other.

4. Cut the shape of a star; make a small incision and slide on top of the tree.

5. Cover the tree with glue and tissue paper (I used green but any colour is good). Apply generously for a firm result. Leave to dry.

6. Decorate the tree with glitter glue.

7. Cover the star with glue and poor glitter over it.

8. Slide the star on the top of the tree.
