coconut-snowmen

I love the crafts and recipes on Martha Stewart website and today I found a great idea for a fun Christmas dessert kids can actually help to make. The coconut snowman looks so cute and by the sounds of it I expect it to be delicious too. The recipe is so simple that I am going to try it this weekend for our dessert on Sunday. Each snowman is made of three balls of vanilla ice rolled in coconut bits and placed one on top of the other. The eyes and buttons are liquorice sweets, the carrot nose is made of marzipan and the hat is toasted marshmallow resting on top of a chocolate biscuit.

The full recipe is available from Martha Stewart.
