Photo Friday: a morning stroll in Hyde Park

I love London at this time of the year when the leaves fall and a walk in the park is so amazing especially if the sun is shining. Now that I no longer live in London, everytime I visit I am able to take in all those little things you are too busy to appreciate when you live there. These pictures were taken last October during our usual morning walk on Hyde Park and Luca had fun spotting the squirrels.

We don’t get autumn where we live (Caribbean), so pics of falling coloured leaves always make me sigh with longing. I guess the grass is always greener (or the leaves are always yellower?) on the other side.

I’m seeing a London theme today. It’s making me want to hop the pond and visit! You all must be excited to have your city back after a busy summer. Fall looks like a quieter and lovely time to plan a London trip.
A nice stroll when no one is around. Can\’t place the church steeple in the first picture though do you know which end of the park this would be?
Beautiful photos! Fall is my favorite time of year, but ours is being spoiled by snow this year.

Lovely! One of the surprises of moving to Sicily is that we miss seeing squirrels on a daily basis. I love watching them in the fall as they hunt, gather, scurry around in the leaves. Happy Autumn!
I used to live near hyde park and walk thru it every morning to go to school, it was one of the tranquil walks and I loved living in London!
I think my favorite photos are the ones with water reflecting trees. Beautiful, serene photos!
Looks so nice an quiet! I love fall and walking through the park–fortunately for us, our house backs up to a small park, so I can go out for a quick walk nearly any time I like (and if it snows enough, I can cross country ski back there!)
I used to follow the ducks and swans at these parks as a girl (visiting my relatives in the summers). I remember Hyde Park, and St. James Park, and just the fact that London’s parks are so wonderful.
