A pillow for the Tooth Fairy

Submitted by on August 25, 2009 – 8:44 amNo Comment

It finally happened. The Tooth Fairy has visited our house for the first time after the first of the two loose bottom teeth that had been hanging there through thick and thin finally fell out to a bit of salad. Proud and excited to the thought of a visit from the Tooth Fairy, our little one went to bed to wake up in the morning and find the tooth had gone and a generous amount was left in its place. It seemed like a good deal. Hours later the second tooth fell out without any help. We were playing beach tennis and it just came off. With a skilled move the tooth was prevented to fall in the sea and put away for the Tooth Fairy. Imagine how disappointed the Fairy would be if the tooth had got lost in the sea!

After a lot of deliberation we opted to place the tooth in an open box by our little one’s bedside. Luckily we had the perfect wooden box with fish all around, but I must say I was not well organised for the special event so I had a look around and I found the cutest embroidered tooth pillows by the wigglytoothfactory on Etsy. They have a little pocket on the back to store the tooth and to welcome any gifts the Tooth Fairy may bring. There are also tin boxes with the word tooth embroidered on the top.
