Star Seeker, A Journey to Outer Space

Submitted by on June 19, 2009 – 12:42 amNo Comment

We have recently been given Star Seeker, a Journey to Outer Space by Therese Heine and illustrated by Victor Tavares, and it has become our favourite read of the moment. This book takes you on a fantastic journey through our solar system where elements of science, mythology and adventure are combined in a beautifully written story. The illustrations are magical and match the words perfectly. At the end of the journey there is a great informative section about the solar system, the individual planets as well as the sun the moon and the stars. They are basic notions made easy for kids to take in. This is a great entertaining book, which we highly recommend.
