Christmas garland

To use up the last of the pinecones we picked during a Sunday afternoon stroll in the local pinewoods, we made a simple garland with varnished pinecones attached to a string with intermittent cardboard stars. Initially I was going to decorate the stars, but when I put it all together I quite liked the natural look next to the pinecones and the brown string.
To make the stars I used a star shaped cookie cutter, cardboard, a scalpel and glue.
