Every year we make new Christmas decorations to hang around the house. This year we made some hanging stars cut out of discarded cardboard boxes, which we painted silver on one side and gold on the other.

The central star is large and different from the others as it is only the outline of a star. This particular star has been decorated with pages from a catalogue using the decoupage technique. When all the stars were ready we punched a hole in each one and tied a fine thread to hang them.
