2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa Activity Book
After a long wait the World Cup finally kicks off today in South Africa. We are all set to watch and with two teams to support it is bound to be exciting! England and Italy are at the top of the list in our household. On top of that we have a question mark over the Ivory Coast, which my son was determined to support in honour of his favourite Chelsea player Didier Drogba. However his recent injury has cast a shadow over his presence in the World Cup so it is kind of wait and see for that one.
The 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa Activity Book is great to get kids involved from a young age. The activity book has a good mix of background information on the world cup past and present and a detailed description for every Country, football based games, puzzles and quizzes so children can test their football knowledge. On top of that a map of South Africa with all the cities and football stadiums hosting the games is a good insight to the geography of the Country. The useful progress chart lets you keep track of the results from the group stages to the final match and 50 colour stickers add to the fun.
