Fun cupcakes for children parties
If you say children parties, I say cupcakes; if you say cupcakes I say Martha Stewart. She has the most fun looking cupcakes, which, I am sure, are as delicious as they look. Cupcakes are perfect for children parties because they are small and versatile to fun decorations like these animal themed ones by Martha Stewart. Hedgehog, caterpillar, bugs, monkeys or clowns, they are all great to look at and judging by the recipe very yummy to eat.

Ingredients to make the hedgehog cupcake:
Cupcakes (any flavor)
Pastry bag
Small multi-opening tip
Unblanched almond slices
Black jelly beans
Chocolate-covered sunflower seeds
Directions
Frost tops of cupcakes with a thin layer of buttercream. Fit pastry bag with small multi-opening tip, and fill with buttercream. Pipe “hair” all over the top of each cupcake, placing the tip on the frosting, squeezing gently, and pulling bag upward. Insert almonds around perimeter of each cupcake, into the sides of frosting to create spikes. Use jelly bean for nose and sunflower seeds for eyes on top of each. Repeat with remaining cupcakes.
