Photo Friday: October sky at sunset

There might not be much in the way of autumn leaves sceneries in Sardinia, but the October sky at sunset makes up for it. The first picture was taken during a visit to my parents who live in a tiny mountain village 500 m above sea level. Life is quiet there and every visit is a good excuse to recharge the batteries. My favourite part of the day is at sunset when the sky turns orange and purple. The second photo is the view we had from our terrace on the first place we rented when we moved to Sardinia. Sadly we no longer live there as it was only a temporary home, but certainly one with a view to remember.
More travel photos at Delicious Baby, thanks to Debbie for organising and coordinating Photo Friday.

I have always loved sunsets, in fact i\’ve posted many of them but none of them as beautiful as your first picture…
I haven’t seen a good sunset like these ones in a long-time. The first image is stunning.
Wow! What beautiful shots. I absolutely love sunset shots.
I loved Sardinia – we had a holiday on the East coast last summer – wonderful coastline and great craggy landscapes inland too
A great part about fall, the skies are breathtaking. You captured it nicely!
I’m not sure if you could ever get me to leave if I saw these views 🙂
