Crafts Fair in Barcelona

xmas decorations

Last weekend I went to a crafts fair in Barcelona, Creativa Spain an event that brings together crafters from all trades. There are various events all over Europe, in Spain alone, as well as in Barcelona, there is an annual fair in Madrid, another one in Zaragoza and also in Valencia. Fairs are a great place to get inspiration for making things, and with Christmas around the corner I left with some ideas for cards and decorations, but nothing more than that. I spent a fortune on a few supplies, which you can get much cheaper online, and all workshops on offer were extremely pricy if you consider that you have to buy a ticket to get in.

Bat Chair by Olympia Gomez

This chair decorated with the collage technique was my favourite thing at the show, I love how you can make things look great just using simple materials like old comics. The great thing about this is that you can use just anything you like, all you need is your imagination and a lot of glue.
