Waiting for the Olympic games: make a simple medal chart

Submitted by on July 16, 2012 – 8:58 am3 Comments

We are really looking forwards to the Olympic games so while we are waiting we have made a chart to keep a record of the gold, silver and bronze medals for some of the countries (we couldn’t fit all in one chart though we did make a flag for each nation taking part!) A great way to learn about the world’s many nations and their flags. We also had a lot of fun looking up all the countries on the globe.

Jen- I am looking forward to seeing your medal chart! and to fill in the medals of course:)

Cara- I know I remembered we did something similar in school too back in the 80’s so why not revisiting it with my son who is so very excited about the olympics! Let’s hope we’ll have a lot of medals to fill it with for our countries Great Britain and Italy:)
