Summer is nowhere in sight, but one must be prepared for those warm and lazy afternoons that will hopefully come soon. One thing we like to do is make our own fruity frozen treats, the only negative is that they take so long to freeze. That’s why I was so excited to read about this quick ice lolly maker by Zoku, which is coming to the UK in July. No more waiting for those yummy ice lollies to freeze, with the quick ice lolly maker your homemade frozen treats will be ready in less than 7 minutes. zoku-quick-popsicle-makerThe Zoku Quick Pop consists of a maker, 6 sticks, a super tool and 6 drip guards. The process is very simple. The pop maker must be kept in the freezer upright; allow for 24 hours to freeze the first time you use it. Whenever your kids feel like a healthy ice lolly, simply take the maker out of the freezer, insert the sticks and poor the juice, yogurt or whatever you wish to use to make the lollies and leave for about 7 minutes. Use the super tool to quickly release the frozen treat from the mould by a simple clockwise turn. You can mix flavours creating funky stripy designs or insert slices of your favourite fruit, nuts and yogurt. The best thing about the pop maker is the freedom to make healthy treats in a matter of minutes. The maker can make up to nine lollies before you need to freeze it again. The Zoku Quick Pop™ will be available online at http://www.zokuhome.co.uk/ .
