Learning Colors With Fruit and Learning Colors With Vegetables are two educational Apps that combine delightful early 20th Century illustrations with lyrical poems aimed to young children learning colours and the names of healthy fruit and vegetables. Based on Elizabeth Gordon’s Mother Earth’s Children’s Book these two Apps developed by Once Upon an App are educational and entertaining for young kids who can choose the view only option and listen to the narration and background music or select the interactive play and test their knowledge. Not only children develop their picture word association skills, but they do so with the positive images of healthy living. Each fruit or vegetable illustration is followed by an actual photograph for children to interact with by picking the right colour. Both Apps are compatible with iPhone and iPod touch.
