I have been impressed with Scandinavian products for a long time and the Bobles Tumbling Animals are no doubt amongst my favourite multipurpose kids’ items. The tumbling animals’ primary function is creative play but they work just as well as modern furniture. They are made of firm foam with a soft surface and easy to clean with a damp cloth or under the shower. Most importantly they are toxin and phthalates free so they are totally safe for children of all ages. The tumbling animals in the form of elephant, crocodile, fish and snake are the most popular. Mostly they appeal to parents for the simple and smart design and to children for their colourful and playful shapes that bring many creative play options. The versatility of movement improves kids’ motor development in a fun and safe environment. The elephant, which is my personal favourite, has a rocking function when positioned upside down, older children will be able to improve their balance standing on the elephant’s two feet, or it can be used to lie across and last but not least as a chair. The crocodile’s most obvious use is as a three-step staircase for children to practise going up and down steps. When turned upside down the crocodile has an angled surface with a rocking function for lying or walking. The fish comes in two sizes to suit really young children and older kids; they are best used as stools and can also be piled up to make higher seats for kids in their teens and adults. The snake has many uses too such as table, climbing frame, tunnel and seat.

These tumbling animals definitely fall under the category of smart playful furniture that appeal to children and parents alike.bobles-tumbling-animals
