I took my 5 yearl old boy to the Natural History Museum yesterday, It was actually our second visit but he enjoyed it much more this time because he’s that little bit older and also going through the dinosaur phase. We had a lot of fun guessing which bones bolonged to which dinosaur and then reading the information on display. He was also interested on the ecology section as he has been doing the basics in school and could relay to some of it. We picked up the Kids Only Museum guide by the Natural History Museum. A colourful guide specifically designed for children and packed with facinating facts and fun games, including puzzles and quizzes. I don’t normally buy museum guides but this one is really worth the £4.50, equally good to use at the museum as a guide and at home to learn important facts like what is a volcano, what is a an earthquake and how old is the earth and then test your knowledge with the fun quizzes.
