With the bank holidays coming up, a week-end away is just what you need. It is precious to spend time all together as a family. Ok, the travelling part with a young child can be nerve racking with the endless questions of why this and why that and the favourite travelling question of all:  Are we there yet?

If you are already at the “Why” phase you would have learnt by now that a little preparation goes a long way and will certainly maintain you sane and able to enjoy your break.

Travelling after the initial excitement can be boring for young kids, so you need to keep them entertained. My son is very happy just with a few activity books and colouring pens, but there is plenty more of travelling games you can use like magnetic games or card guessing games to be enjoyed as family fun.

The FridgePlay Goplay Bundle is great to entertain more than one child; the set includes Chinese checkers, hangman and four-in-a-row.
